This is so cool: Hotel Everland, a temporary, one-room hotel on the roof of the Palais de Tokyo museum in Paris with a magnificent view of the Eiffel Tower. It includes a king-size bed, lounge, bathroom, minibar, and a record collection. Very swanky. I love the toilet.

Cartype has a pictorial of some awesome car gauge clusters. Some of them look like they'd be distracting though, and the concept car ones are just hard to read.

George Carlin died yesterday at age 71. He was my favorite comedian and he'll be missed. I love his routine about familiar expressions:"'The greatest thing since sliced bread.' So this is it, huh folks? Couple of hundred thousand years. The fuckin' pyramids for christ's sake...What's so great about sliced bread? You got a knife, you got a loaf of bread. Slice the fuckin' thing!"
